The Sports Diagnostics, Lifestyle and Therapy Centre (SET) is an institution which was implemented as the development of the University of Debrecen.
The Sport Medicine Department of University of Debrecen operates here, which, thanks to its well-trained medical, physiotherapist and healthcare professionals, contributes to the provision of complex services – regarded as unique in Hungary – not only for elite but for recreational- and hobby-level athletes as well as for those in need of musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
We provide personalized, high-quality services in the field of diagnostics and therapy, which is guaranteed by the sports physicians of the University of Debrecen, specialists working in other fields and our modern equipment and machinery. Our employees are constantly training themselves, following the latest procedures, effective diagnostics and therapy in line with modern-day needs.
Our centre cooperates with the University of Debrecen and its Sport Science Coordination Institute, which provides an opportunity to participate in forward-looking research, since sport science is one of the most dynamically developing fields of sciences today that can contribute to higher sports performance in elite sport as well as to a better quality of life in everyday life.

Our specialized experts assess the actual state of health of the athletes with a wide range of methods and the latest devices. We provide the athletes and the trainers with sport-specific support in sports doctor, dietetics and physiotherapeusist consulting. As a result, the efficiency of the training can be increased, maximum performance can be achieved easier and injuries can be prevented. With regular repetition of the examinations the physical and mental state of the athlete is continuously followed up. It is recommended that Monitorizing be completed before the competition season, before and after a training camp, for preparation to the championship, for training programmes and to follow up the efficiency of the training.
